The National Welfare Support Center with 4 life zones is a specialized facility for people with disabilities of Sejong city's National Welfare Support Center with 6 life zones, and is a composite building where health/treatment, youth and welfare facility coexist beside of facilities for people with disabilities.
Therefore, doing not only the efficient management and operation of different facilities but also being an available building easy for several people to evacuate was one of the largest elements to consider.

Another topic was ‘what structure of public building connects nature to the city' considering the characteristics of business site located in Samsung riverside.
As characteristic of specific business sites, we intend to assure the publicity thanks to 4m level difference between West's entrance road and East's Samsung riverside, and the mutual contacts between South's disability type national sports center and the North's public government office that will be built.
We created a space that the flow of nature around the city and water are connected to not only the external building but also to the internal building, and proposed 'harmony', a comfortable and safe place where the handicapped/normal people can get naturally along with each other and narrow the distance of mind.
